It is written about young adults and I am convinced the YA crowd will love it. ![]() The plot is great, the title fits, and the action is fast paced. John has written an edge of your seat thriller. Was Ella the girl he had fallen in love with? Did he really know her at all? Would he be murdered just as she was as he stumbles through the violence and depravity he is becoming entangled in? In his investigation, Jack is led through Auckland’s underbelly, and he doesn’t know who to trust. ![]() For some reason his friends have turned against him thinking that Jack and her breaking up has caused her to take her own life. He is convinced, she has been murdered, and he is determined to find the guilty party and make them pay. He knows her too well and she would never do that. The police seemed to be going along with the idea, but Jack doesn’t believe it for a second. When Jack “Spade” Miller’s ex-girlfriend, Ella Lewis, is found dead and the old crowd is saying suicide, even her best friend, Megan, thinks, she hung herself. ![]()
